Fr Christopher us in our prayers daily –and many times during the day and the night—when we cannot sleep we think about him and all he is suffering —
when we believe in his priesthood as much as we do —
we are sorry he wasn’t afforded the right to meet with the bishop who could have asked his questions and gotten true answers from Fr Christopher who instead quickly sent the case to ROME FOR FURTHER ‘CANONICAL REVIEW’– even after Fr was found innocent of any charges—case closed—
what by the way became of the other priests who were said to have ‘signed a letter of complaints’ about the bishop”??? where are they now??
If the Bishop had done in the very first place—-what any good bishop would have done he could have met with Fr Senk and found out the truth rather than get his information from someone or some persons who did not know the facts!
The Bishop didn’t like that Father Senk was one of ten who did sign that letter complaining about the Bishop— and so he is just getting even (STILL) with Father (and several others) for the valid complaints l brought against the bishop—..
People who know Father care about what happens to him because of this blatant injustice…….. as Christians we have that obligation to NOT ‘be afraid’ to speak on his behalf even if it is to the Bishop or to Rome! If he was your son or brother or cousin or friend———– you TOO would do the same! Or would you do the same??? THE GOOD PRIEST WE ALL KNEW BEFORE THIS INJUSTICE AND HE IS STILL THE SAME PERSON AND GOOD PRIEST NOW!
Farther still deserves to be heard by the church and the Bishop and by Rome—- this should not happen to one of the finest priests we have ever met! It is discouraging enough with all the OTHER KINDS OF abuse cases we have to hear about— but Father has done NONE OF THOSE KIND OF THINGS—-HE HAS no wrong BUT HE is being abused by the powerful bishop ——–
if Rome speaks we promise we will try to honor that decision but this case needs a full hearing in Rome NOW! —and direct contact between Rome and Father HAS TO TAKE PLACE—-BECAUSE it doesn’t look like the Bishop wants to have anything to do with setting the record straight—or helping Fr. Christopher be free from the false and wrong accusations — no one is vindictive in this case except the Bishop— please don’t ask people to be silent and make us afraid to speak out on behalf of a good innocent man–that is our obligation as Christians——tell FATHER the accusations and then Father can at least refute them — just give him the chance to do that —for heavens sake! WE ARE ALL CALLED TO MAKE THIS RIGHT FOR THIS ONE PERSON – WE CAN DO IT FOR FATHER SENK!
As long as this case is unresolved the friends of Fr. Senk will pray and support him as best we know how because that is what our Church and our faith has taught us to do for anyone in need of such support! We believe in Fr. Senk and so we are going to do our best to get him a hearing that is fair and just! Why can’t the lawyer arrange that meeting??
That is what I think the ‘PFJ’ people trying to do———-they do not need to be l silenced or criticized for supporting an innocent man!
stand up and be counted whenever we see any injustice this world!
Who will speak for us if it happens to us or one of our family members we also know and love??
IT HAS TAKEN TOO LONG BUT THE BISHOP CAN DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! WE ONLY ASK ASK FOR A FAIR HEARING—- THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE TO DATE! IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO YEARS! is that right and just ?????? NO!!!!!!!!
For the life of St Isabel’s to go on as it was when Fr Christopher was present is what the people ask for before he was unfairly removed for no good reason! Without a hearing !!!
God bless this situation and make it right and just for Fr Christopher and for all the parish members !
