  1. At a funeral i attended yesterday for an 89 year old woman – Grace – everyone with masks on……… i was sitting alone in the back against the wall of the church where extra chairs were set up as it was crowded ( a tribute to an old woman) and that was the last seat available with distancing, etc—-
But when it was time to say the OUR FATHER, together it took on new meaning for me—–

say it quietly and slowly when you say it —think about the words of Jesus—

    ”forgive us our trespasses—
as we forgive those who trespass against us—”

give thanks for the times we have not been appreciative of all the things someone has done for us — or that hopefully perhaps we have been able to do something small and kind for them —
the last words of the Our Father

and Lord—-deliver us from any evil. Amen

They sang ”Make Me A Channel of Your Peace’ and ”How Great Thou Art ” at the funeral!

I am so glad I felt well enough to get to the funeral for Grace! She was remembered for her love of family, her generosity to people and her hospitality and her always available cookies!
She was married for 69 years by the way!

What a nice way to be remembered! So say a prayer for her husband who I’m sure is going to feel her absence! They were always in church together and you could see their love for each other!
    Peace! Mary Jo
